    Carp pituitary extract...

Does anyone know where I can get some CPE from please? I’ve tried all my local vets and none of them can supply it... have a very heavily laden female who needs some help. Thanks.

Duncan Griffiths may be able to help you with this. I won't put his email on an open forum but you can contact him through the Contact Page of his Chemical Factory:

I also wanted some of this, only way I could find was to order from America. About £100, or there are fake Chinese copies which are much cheaper on Ali express I think it was called.
    Cheers Chris

That was the message in my first post, Dave,

But I used careful language because it doesn't help Duncan to be too specific about what he sells and why because Veterinary Medications Regulations ban many medications that we would like to use for koi. That was why no vet would supply it.

The Veterinary Medicines Directorate used to monitor forums and social media and were constantly warning Duncan that he was flouting the regulations. As a result, Duncan had to remove koi medications from KoiQuest and now he only sells generic chemicals from his "Chemical Factory" website with no reference to them being a medication.

We can point people to Duncan as a person who can help them with problems of a medical nature but we shouldn't be too specific about what he may or may not sell.

Could you not get a separate vat set up?

Fresh water, heated to 22c plenty of brushes in, the female and a couple of males.

Mine spawned within 24hours this way and it’s all natural.

Keep doing regular water changes throughout.

All of my other females spawned this year apart from this one who’s being stubborn - brushes, piped Barry White
Music, candles even a poster of the Hoff, nothing!
