Share your evening mood lights setup around your Koi pond
Hi guys,
When sitting tonight with my wife next to our Koi pond past sunset, enjoying nice glass of red wine with sweet gorgonzolla cheese I got an idea to start this thread to share photos of how we all added ambient lights around our ponds to underline the special warm evenings with clear blue sky to complement the special precious moments with our pets at the end of their and our day....here goes my part - three 1W warm white outdoor lights plus two 3W under the two waterfalls warm white LED lights - total 6W of energy - the waterfall pump itself plus lower waterfall light just above pond is on remote control and used only when we actually sit next to the pond to extend the evening a bit - it is otherwise shut down not to disturb ouf Koi unnecessarily - the rest on simple outdoor timer.
Please share youd own mood lighting for such special moments with youf Koi!
Not meant as contest - just courious really how you all did it....

Great one Mythril,
Here is one more - from a bit of distance - another 1W warm white LED light - on this one I like the projection of pergola over entry to the pond itself onto the 40 years old spruce tree shielding our pond - together with our neighbor's the same age pine tree - from the south sun - looks a bit like japanese letter sign motive....

I haven't yet done my pond lighting. It's only been 2 years
I am thinking that I would definitely not put my laptop on the pond wall like Mythril's picture- my fish often do a flippy turn near a wall and soak whatever is on it / near it
My Kindle got soaked once when it was on the pond window sill.2016 new 6000 gallon pond

I went out last night at 01.30am.
Turned lights on with a nice cold drink. Then turned lights off and sat in the moonlight. So you don t always need light . A nice moon sometime gives a nice tranquil feel.
Only problem was i woke up in the pond. HahaSent from my SM-G925F using Tapatalk
