    Exclamation HELP Suspended Clay

Hello. ive recently build my pond but my water clarity is zero with it being just brown with clay. I've been looking on the internet frantically of products to help clear this but i am struggling to find what i need to remove the clay particles from the water as there are so many for different purposes. Does anyone know what i can add as a Flocculant or Coagulant that is koi safe to help me remove the clay through my filtration, thanks.

This may seem like a stupid question but is the pond lined with a liner/ fibreglass?

Is in a ground level pond? If so you may need to raise the edges up higher to stop any run off going into the pond.

What filters are you running and how often do you clean them?

There are several flocculant product made for ponds. Due to the feeding habits of koi though, they are most effective in bare bottom ponds or ponds where the fish can't dig up any sediment, mudponds are practically impossible to keep clear with koi.
