    Yes, and yes.
I usually go there to collect my fish, but have once had them shipped and all went smoothly. They willmcome APC overnight courier and you have to be in to accept the delivery. Around half the fish in my pond are from Cuttlebrook

Thanks for that. Get very nervous picking fish up in car and driving for an hour so this is first time I’ve done shipping. Is there anything different you need to do with the fish when they arrive or just half hour float in bag and then release ?

In an ideal world you would quarantine them for a couple of weeks on arrival just like any new fish.

I personally do not do the bag floating thing- but I do check what the pH and temp is at the farm and try to match it if at all possible.

The water in the transport bag will be full of ammonia and pretty rank, so I always discard it and don’t allow any to get into my pond. You could tip the bag and fish out into a smallish bowl and add more and more of your own water to it gradually, then move the fish after an hour or so

They are generally happier to move to warmer water than they are colder water. If youve had them shipped though they will be at whatever temp fhe warehouse and vehicles have been overnight. If you can possibly go and fetch them this is way better because a couple fo hours in the car is a lot less stressful and risky than a whole night being moved between courier depots and vehicles. The drivers dont always appreciate they are handling a box of live fish and so are a lot less careful than you would be yourself. I had a driver shuffle up the drive like he was carrying a priceless antique once though You can make sure you load the box at 90 degrees to the direction of travel, whereas they do not know to do this.

If you can get to Cuttlebrook in an hour, do it. Buying from them is a pleasure, and their fish are superb. I travel much more than an hour to get to them.

Echo the above, I have a few koi in my pond, never had an issue.
Mark and Lisa are a pleasure to know.
Always better to see fish before you buy.
