Hi Anne.
Apparently it rained thursday night in friday then heavy showers friday tea time ....
I did mow the lawn in mid week before we went away and watered then every other day it got a light watering due to the new turf....
One thing my grandad taught me was to leave at least an inch of grass after mowing never ever cut it like a bowling green as your asking for trouble....
Hence the lush grass..
If anybody wants to have a go about a hose pipe ban etc then let me say this.
United Utilities can bring a hose pipe ban into force etc but they must give customers a daily rebate on their bills.
Until that happens f@@k em..You get what you pay for...

No hose pipe ban - no problem Ant
And if they do announce a hose pipe ban you could just keep watering your garden and just say you thought you still had a pond and your memory and eyesight aren't what they used to be
