A job well done having been well thought through.
I've plans for when I decide to jack all this in, which is likely to happen within a few years.
P1010755.jpg
I'll convert it into a "sunken garden," with the level a few inches below that of the present water level. I'll leave six inches of the liner all round the perimeter, to form a clean "edge"
This area will be turfed, but I'll create a dry stream of white pebbles from the waterfall on the left to the imitation bridge on the right.
I'll remove a few of the rocks at this end, those between the middle two solar lights. Enough to allow a step down to the turf. The rocks are just sitting on the York stone collar of the pool and form a narrow bed, The rest of the bed will stay. We''ll probably place about four round slabs on the grass for some of the roses in ceramic pots presently on the patio. Everything else will stay.
I'll fill in the pump sump and use its concrete collar to form a feature bed.

We've had this pool now for 32 years. But you have to have a plan, don't you?"The information's out there,
You only have to let it in." (Jesse Stone)

Lol I saw the canes but even on a second and third look I can't see the gloves lol
I spotted the hooks of a fluke on a recent post with microscope pictures which were not very obvious at all but the gloves have escaped me lol
