🤣 pmsl there fred ha ha “not on salads” thats a corker that mate your not wrong though ay. Honestly i seen them chags when at around 70+ and they where cracking. Darren has some big girls in his main pond too one of the first big koi i ever seen was an old chag and ive not come across 1 that doesnt have the typical gentle greedy giant nature yet, thats why i love em so much. I think me an the mrs have made our minds up too and we are going to replace the asagi with a soragoi or another chag either way it will probsbly be a goi lol. Maybe this year but more likely next now

Thanks Lee for the kind words. I bought the first and second Chag in 2016 and the Karashigoi in 2017. Time flies mate. Good looking Chag's Lee BTW. I've had my eye out for a brick red gin rin chag but never really seen one for sale.

Here is a link to a video clip on You Tube of my koi
The chagoi at the start is a male (yes male...) chagoi, 8 years old from Sakai Fish Farm and is 101cm. Enjoy

Sorry to here that mate, I hope you’re on the mend pal. Iv not been on for while. My chags tumour has got worse. I lived in hope it might sort itself, but was never going to happen. Apart from the visual of it, which isn’t pretty you wouldn’t know there is a problem. Swimming and eating fine, although it’s look bad now so I think I’m going to let him/her have this summer. All the other fish are fine thanks. Just had fluke but seems to be under control now and I’m going to re treat in 2 weeks for the eggs.
