Koi in local fishing water
After along time out with illness etc we had a brief walk around a local small fishing water and in the flood run off we noticed the koi in the picture.

Now in that run off there are some big pike that are big enough to make a meal of that koi....
The picture dont do it justice as the koi is at least 12inches in length..

Welcome back Ant. People were asking after you.
I reckon that is an unwanted pet released deliberately into the lake.

Exactly my thought aswell.....
No point in trying catch it though....
There are some rather posh properties with big gardens not a 5min walk away so possibility it is local....Last edited by Ant62; 16-11-2017 at 08:14 PM.

Remember those crazy floods we had ten years ago? My brother-in law got flooded out and all his Koi swam off, the blokes right savvy, I didn't ask him but I'm sure all his Koi doubled in size and value for the insurance claim
