    Do you have any pics?
This is something I`m considering after my Combi Drum.

My Oase Premium Combi has been running 2 months and I am feeding half of what the manual says the 40 litres of media can cope with and still running Ammonia traces and nitrite. Added to this I have upped the media to 50 litres!

Did you go with the 600x600x800 version from JBR in the end? How much K1 did you get into it?
    Here we go again.....!!

However they are on ebay - I guess these would be cheaper if you contact them directly

Hmmm, quite a bit more expensive in my experience. Better off going with the one on EBay. Wish I'd known about it before ordering mine.

I paid £350 for mine inc. delivery on a pallet. Got it going nicely now with 100 l of K1 in it. Air pump that I bought was overkill at 80lpm...caused it to overflow. A Hailea 20lpm pump is boiling the K1 now with no problems at all.

so did you just go with the standard EBay version 600x700x700 with one inlet and one outlet?

Ok thanks - thought that was the case from your other thread.

Lets just say for now that their pricing seems to be very inconsistent. You had a good price there so good for you!

I did drill another 8-10 holes in the plastic guard around the outlets to let more water through, though the overflowing issue I had was caused more by over aeration causing it to all bubble over.

I have posted details of my JBR bio filter on other threads but here it is again FYI
900x540x900high with one 4" inlet and two 2" outlets. It has a box section strengthening frame half way up to take the weight of water and I have 200 litres of K1 turning over nicely with a 45 litre air pump. £445 delivered.

I have one similar to Rog's
slightly taller, but not as wide.
    Same price, delivered.

I have roughly 180l of media churning under a Hailea 30l air pump

I would calculate if my 900x540x900 filter turns over 200 litres of K1 a filter 600x600x800 should turn over 130 litres of K1.
