LOL well that's all any pump can do as apparently it is not physically possible to pull water

The other reason for choosing the 2000 was its 2" in and out, the 1000 is only 1.5" wish they did this as a 2" as well

I found them on amazon last night and was going to order one but wanted to know peoples thoughts or if anyone was running one before I buy.

I'm still not convinced my superfish 15000 is enough to run my Ultrabead 60.

It would be good if they did a revamp on the 1000 and changed it from 1.5 to 2" in and out.
The 2" pipe fixing were the main reason for me going for the 2000 pump

To my knowledge Jebao is actually manufacturing the DM Vario pumps for AquaForte - have not checked spare parts list for exact specs differences between Jebao variable flow pumps and DM vario pumps, but the difference might be only color of plastic parts......my guess.....
You get what you pay for - or better - what you make yourself.

I've had my Aquaforte vario 20k for a couple of. years nearly now, its run perfectly. I would definitely recommend them.

Chose the model specifically for it's 2" inlet and outlet since my return pipework is all 2". Pressure pipe female threaded connectors simply screw onto these pumps (don't forget to use unions in the line though or you would never be able to unscrew it ).

I nearly made that mistake on my QT pump. I took them both off to gain some space and then realised what I had done and refitted them both. Glad I used flexi rubber boot fittings everywhere now

Hi - I bought two of the Jebao TSP 20000 off e-bay late last year for under £300, that's less than half what I paid for the two Aquamax 8000 they replaced. Been running them for 6 months and very impressed, even the lowest setting flows much more than the aquamax and it's reporting 26W (aquamax was 100W).

I used 2" -> 1.5" rubber boot reducers to connect up to my 1.5" pipework.

Are your 20000 running ok on 1.5ins pipe?

Not being funny or anything but I cant get my head round the 2ins and 1.5ins difference.
My 18000 is on 2ins and my sequence 10000 is on 1.5ins and fine

I'm not running either of them at anywhere near full power at the moment, in fact the one on the Nexus is arguably flowing too much even at the lowest rating (9000lph, and my pond is only 10,000 litres).

In truth the 10,000 would probably suffice for my setup, but I liked the idea of having a bit of reserve in my back pocket and there was only about £30-£40 price difference between the 10,000 and the 20,000.

Anyone using one of these on a bead filter? Thinking of going for the tsp 20000 on my Ultrabead .

Running mine on tickover much more and it pulls the media up hard against the exit gate.

Well, I thought I’d give the jebao tsp 20000 a go. I’ve ordered one which should be here today, see how it goes on the Ultrabead 60.

With these it's nearly always a good idea to "go large"

You may not need the flow but dialling it back saves leccy

    100W running 24/7 is about! £130 a year

Just seen your post I'm running a 20000 on my sieve, bead and UV line and a 15000 on my skimmer and shower line. No idea if the flow is as it should be as this is my first pond but I'm pleased with the results. My 20000 is running at max power and running at 185 watts, the 15000 is running at 45% and using 56 watts I think
