New cheaper Drum filter
Hi everyone,
Anyone know anything about the new Aquaforte drum filter selling on Ebay for £1200?

I've heard that apparently it's quite good but am not sure I want to pay £1200 to find out, was speaking to a stand at the show today can't remember which one but they said they've already sold out of the aqua forte drum so it can't be that bad.

Aquaforte usually make pretty good equipment, I have sent an email with loads of questions, I would like to see one up and running before making a decision, or have a few reviews with koi keepers who are running them.

New cheaper Drum filter
I asked this one on another thread not long ago and got very mixed replies.
Aquaforte drum any good?

Aquaforte are a decent brand if you ask me and ive not heard bad things about their sieves etc... I think its a bit of one of them things that because it doesnt cost a fortune its not good enough i did initially think this way. But Just my opinion and yes it looks like a budget drum but whats wrong with that? If i had spent a good chunk on a stainless bakki shower i wouldnt slate a plastic one just because its half the price. Does the same job at the end of the day.

I make a full test of this drum in this summer, The first look was good, good prise for a drum that can be used in gravity or pumping mode for a flow of 20.000l/h maximum, that's mean for a majority ponds

The price is rising due to the brexit vote, expect more price rises on imported goods in the coming months

Buy cheap buy twice, I’ve heard that are not good, flimsy, prone to leaks, that’s from my local dealer, he won’t stock them anymore, forever buying new screens, then there’s this thread.

Running heater at low temp?
Covering the pond with polycarb should be enough to stop water temps dipping below 6C for the most...
