I bowled mine yesterday for pics but my OH who was given the task of taking the pics announced afterwards 'oh whoops I had the autofocus turned off'. So I might have to bowl it again tomorrow for some more pics lol.
My fish pinked up again straight away so did not look that great in the bowl anyway. Not expecting it to win, but I think will be a good fish in the future as it has the frame and potential. It will slim down quite a bit over the winter and probably look nice again by the spring2016 new 6000 gallon pond

Well I have to admit I was dreading catching my fish, but it went remarkably easy and quickly
IMG_0152.jpg
here's how they were on the day at approximately 18-19 cm.
My grow n show is the middle fish and the one to the right Is my other one.
and today, this is my grow n show entry fish, approx 34 cm
IMG_2270.jpg
Really poor growing season for this fish, but its looking healthy and its eating again now, and it might come good I don't know, it is starting to get some sumi come up at last.
and my non grow n show fish I brought on the day, and now at 40 plus cm, maybe 42.
So about 24 cm growth in 25 weeks, that's better than I was expecting.

Quite happy with this one, all things considered.
David
p.s, whats everyone feeding? , mine have always had Dai Suki growth, with the occasional treat of brown bread, prawns, cheerios etc.

Just a reminder that I need all your pictures in by this Sunday 8th October. So far I've only received two people's emails.
Please check your inbox for the PM I sent you a week ago for details and my email address.

Well, I bowled mine again today (after OH messed up the focus on thursdays's pics the muppet).
It is starting to get used to being bowled and only turned into a little torpedo twice today- still went pink though
I made it 42cm. I've had trouble growing on this fish because although I am not feeding anywhere near the max I could for the pond as a whole, this fish is a little piggy and is always first to the food and has the suction of a Dyson. To diet this fish I will have to starve everybody!
I've been steadily decreasing feed amounts over the past 4 weeks and reduced the number of feeds too. Will definitely have a proper winter of a few weeks with no food to get this fish back into shape.
