bobajob and me popped over to jp's house today just to see these fish for ourselves as a group because we are both unable to go next week...the pictures that pondy took are good but they dont actually show all of the quality that these fish are, to say that they look stunning is an understatement, i cannot wait until i know what fish has been picked for me next week, i will be happy with any one i get...i would just like to thank jp on the work he has done quarantining these fish.....timmy

just to let you all know.
as you all know john p has done all the hard work with these babies... ie QT. we (davej and i) offered john to pick his two fish prior to the draw as a thankyou, so he can have the pick of the litter as it were.
he refused but said he still wanted to take part in some of the fun and atmoshere so he has chose one of the babies (number 7) and will pick an envelope for his second one.
so im just letting you all know that koi 7 will not be one of the koi drawn on saturday

And here is my poor thing, got a split left pec and damage at the joint.
never mind....I will do my best with him.
Should i stitch the pec or let it grow and join naturaly. I gave him a salt bath when i got home. So hopefully all is well tommorow.
had a great day though..thanks to everyone especially JP and family for hosting..
I wish i could have eaten more of the BBQ, but i was full
