Just a thought if anyone from Midlands ish area cant make it I could bring it back with me and meet them somewhere mutually convenient on way home... well actually anyone from collection point to Northants...? Anyway dont know if that helps anyone but offer there, someone chooses your envelope and meet you with your selection on way back.

Are me and Lisa gutted or what, one of the best , if not the best "koi days" in the social calender this year and we just realised that we have double booked and getting out of the other booking is not an option.
So unless the date is changed to the weekend after...or the weekend before we will be unable to attend.
a pi$$ed off and gutted

Ash and Lisa am soooo sorry as i said . Sods law isn't - know how much you were looking forward to it.
Umm... by the way did you know you sounded like a tax man maybe why I sounded a leeeetle wary at first.... someone uses Mr with me it usually means I am in trouble .
Hmm just had a thought..... Pondy maybe and others involved maybe have an input and its a no no BUT.... because of the way we do the G & S.... we aren't actually looking at a tank and picking one in turn but choosing an envelope...
Just a suggestion to Pondy and the team but... would it be poss maybe that those like Ash and Lisa who cant make the day could maybe make the Fri and pick an envelope? Maybe pick up the fish than? and just keep shhh...? I know it misses the day itself and don't even know if it's attractive for those can't make it, just thinking out loud really - I suppose a pic could be sent to a phone or something maybe, just a thought. probably not a goer but just feel bad for those unable to get there :/.

Hi Dave
I will have a chat with Lau later on, he's currently getting very wet moving his babes back from the show.
The reason we couldn't go for the 18th was that we wanted to give the fish a clear two weeks at 24C after ramping and then have time to get them down to 18C ish for collection, all takes time but better to try and do it right.

Hiya Dave!
I suppose whichever day it would have been tough for someone. If iot had been the 18th that would have been very tricky for me, so I got lucky.
Just had quick look at show pics - followed the thread and looked like a geat event, and brilliant some successes from some of the guys, and Pondy looks to be filling his shelves up with trophies again .
