T2 inside tank. Can see a couple of keepers in there
Wildlife pond now very green
Fish in the wildlife pond have followed the slightly heavier feed down in the water ( I hope) or have been eaten! For sure there are not so many surface hugging fish.

Tobies are the largest of the fry. They need separating or they will eat your grand champion lol

At a guess I would say they run through their siblings at 20 a day.. extracted a dozen last weekend from the wildlife pond but with it greening up its now nigh on impossible..

But that's the natural selection. With the size of your natural pond I am sure you have a few tobies to contend with.

May find a dozen of similar potential to this one... if I am lucky... There are many a notch down, you don't fully appreciate the difference unless and until you see a "serious" fish, thereafter you have a bar upon which to make judgement..

My 2 DaveJ showas are still much loved fish in my pond. 'Sharon' is not mahiisove, but she has very nice markings. I will share a pic of her and Sheldon if I bowl them this summer <3

I know mate that's why you need to make sure you make your selection at the right time! Become Japanese for the day lol
Good luck, worse problems to have mate.

Hi Dave how old are your fry now?
I have just got 250 six week old fry for a learning curve, feeding 0.5 mm but not sure if I am giving enough or too much, how do you know how much,is it as much as they eat in a minute or so? And four or five feeds a day?
