    Breeding different koi types

Just out of pure curiosity, what happens if you breed for example a Showa to an asagi? Do you get some of each or are they just a mix of the two colours?
(I have no interest in breeding, I made the mistake of keeping g goldfish eggs and now I’m stuck with a load of goldfish)

you get some mixed colors and patterns, there are some fish that get genes from just one parent and be the same as they, I do not have the same fish (male and female) but still leave them to do spawn and then I exchanging that mixed fish for equipment, in the petshop
