Ive just been looking at the 55w uv prices and their price is a lot cheaper than most, im tempted to get one myself as well as the cetus even though i havent dug a spadeful of dirt yet and i probably wont be up and running for a 12 month. Never too early to grab a bargain.

Hi,

I run an easy pod and it is coping well with my pond of 1500 gallons. I bought mine 2nd hand for £180.00, so I didn't think that was too bad!

The easy pod complete is the 'new' model which has the built-in UV, but for my money, I would have the easy pod air, as you can then fit your own UV into your system and then you are always free to change the filter at a later date if you want to, which is what I shall do ultimately!

On their website the 55uv is £139,00 and the Cetus is £429.00 it must be a promotion for ebay they only had 5 uvs of each and 5 Cetus sieves and by the look of their feedback they have only just started to sell on ebay.

Well Cetus and EA 55 uv arrived this morning, less than 24hrs courier and I must say firstly what a hell of a service and secondly what pieces of kit these are, the Cetus is a lot bigger than i expected but then Ive never seen one in the flesh and the uv looks an awesome peice of kit, well a few more items to purchase over the next few weeks and then hopefully start the dig, andy

Im glad your gear arrived safely Andysod just noticed no more bargains on their ebay all have gone so if any one was thinking should i or should i not the answer is not. May be they will sell some other things at a later date, ive added them as a favourite and will post if anything comes up.
