why do you ask? if you are using this tub of water to treat fish you should use your pond water , or use dechlorinator . If you spray the water finely straight from the hose the chlorine evaporates in the atmosphere . i hope this helps ;)

Thanks koiman..

brett i've been keeping another tub filled with water and i've been leaving it for 2 days ready for the small regular water changes i've been doing and yes i have been using dechlorinator aswell anyway but why should i use dechlorinator if it dissapears after 24 hours anyway.?

I belive it to be 24hours also. Although be carefull not to leave it too long (1week+) as you dont want to be addin stagnent/old water to your pond..

For regular water changes 24 is enough and u dont need to add de-chlorinator
