    Fish safe pestacides

    Can anyone recommend anything thats fish safe for sure?

    Don't think I would trust any pesticide, even if the packet had ''FISH SAFE '' written all
    over it in great BIG letters, not worth the risk.

    The only safe pesticides I'm aware of are Spiders, Hedgehogs, Bats etc.

    There's some very fat spiders in my filter pit..... eating the mosquitos I hope.

    depends on the pesticide your using and how your using them, since fluke treatments etc fit the box of a pesticide

    I was watching gardeners World earlier and there was a garden centre using a garlic based spray to control pests. I'm going to look into it.

    I've seen a lot of flea ridden dogs over the years. supposedly being given an anti-flea garlic supplement I don't think most insects are that fussy when they want to suck your blood.

    works with a few things like carrot fly as masks the smell of the carrots, but it does not stop aphids or caterpillars
    the slow pond build thread
