    My pond's plants..

Well I inherited a pond.. had to restart from scratch after a veggie filter problem (overflow during holiday left koi high dry) but that was a couple of years ago.. now..

Firstly this flowered for the first time this year.. Water Iris..

Next my Lillies went bananas - masses of flowers and pads

Before the new pump, filter replacements and veggie filter re-line and deepening:

Also the veggie filter stink horn cabbage flowered earlier in the year. I also have a yearly crop of water cress that acts like a fine matter strainer with the roots! This is currently waiting to be reintroduced to the veggie filter after the rework:

So.. having koi doesn't mean you end up with no plants I only have a couple along with some ghost koi and a couple of others.

I bought all my plants from this place: Buying Aquatic Pond Plants | Lilies Water Gardens UK & EU

I've popped in a couple of times over the years to select and pick up plants. They only deal with water plants and wandering around the polly tunnels - the place is filled with dragonflies

Some really beautiful plants and very knowledgeable staff.
